Lovely location, very quiet cottage in a very quiet area but within easy access to all major routes that allow you to visit Suffolk and Norfolk easily.

Nothing could improve this accommodation, the setting was lovely, the cottage was just perfect and the owner very friendly and helpful... and the weather was perfect too. There were lots of interesting little villages to explore not too far from Alice's Cottage that were full of old charm, lovely little shops and restaurants and cafes and this has led to very happy memories to bring back home and share with family and friends.

The setting was perfect as was the welcome with wine and flowers and milk in the fridge - just what we needed after a stressful journey. If you want peace, then you will find it here.

The property is ideal for a couple. The pond in front of the lounge was so interesting. The local pub (Railway Inn) was worth a visit with a very friendly publican. The area is well worth exploring, and with low levels of traffic it made driving a pleasure.

Rural England at its finest. A beautiful location and a warm and cosy cottage. The scenery was breathtaking with ducks on the pond, horses in the stables and the bird song all day. Idyllic is the word we would use to describe Alice's Cottage.

Alice cottage was the cutest place my husband and I had stayed in for a long while, the surroundings where beautiful like staring at a canvas drawn by a famous painter. It was peaceful yet not remote, good facilities around the village. would go there over and over for the long deserved break. thank you Hoseasons .

We recommend Alice cottage, Mellis, as a lovely situation for an abslutely peaceful and relaxing holiday. A place in which to loose oneself from the everyday round of life.

So quiet and peaceful and set in beautiful gardens amidst beautiful countryside. A great base for touring both Norfolk and Suffolk or equally just for chilling out and watching the ducks.
